Sarah Ferguson Had ‘Crush' on JFK Jr. During His Relationship With Daryl Hannah, New Book Claims
Sarah Ferguson had a 'schoolgirl crush' on John F. Kennedy Jr. back in the day — and didn't take no for an answer, despite his relationship status. 'On a trip to New York, Fergie asked her staff to find out if John Kennedy Jr. — handsome son of the assassinated JFK — was in town,' author Andrew Lownie writes in his upcoming book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, per an excerpt published by the Daily Mail. 'Discovering where he was, she invited him for drinks or dinner at her hotel, which he accepted.' According to Lownie, Ferguson, now 65, was informed that John Jr. was in a relationship with Daryl Hannah at the time but said, 'That's not going to bother me!' John Jr. and Hannah, now 64, were together for five years, splitting in 1994. The actress was allegedly 'bothered' by Ferguson's invitation, so 'Kennedy cancelled, claiming a prior engagement.' Sarah Ferguson's Friendship With Princess Diana Through the Years Lownie's book claims, 'Staff were then ordered to spy on his apartment all night to check that he had told the truth,' as Ferguson wouldn't 'be discouraged.' Lownie also alleges that Ferguson took issue with the late Princess Diana meeting John Jr. 'for 30 minutes' in December 1995. 'She was furious: 'He's mine! Why can't she just leave him alone?'' he writes. 'She gave Kennedy a code name, 'Number Nine' — his place in the order of her lovers.' The Duchess of York 'spent hours scouring magazines for articles about him, cutting out pictures of him in his swimming trunks and talking to her friends about whether he would like different aspects of her personality,' the author continues. Lownie claims a 'close confidant' told him it seemed as though Ferguson thought things were 'incredibly real' between her and John Jr. Sarah Ferguson's Ups and Downs With the Royal Family: Divorce, Wedding Snubs and More 'She spends hours talking about him,' the friend says. 'The fact that she's never even met him doesn't seem to matter at all.' Ferguson's team declined to comment on the book, which hits shelves August 14. Ferguson married Prince Andrew in July 1986. They were together for a decade before finalizing their divorce in May 1996. The former couple share daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. (Details about the exes' alleged ups and downs will also be explored in Lownie's book.) John Jr., meanwhile, ended up marrying Carolyn Bessette in September 1996. Ana De Armas Was Caught Liking A Shady Instagram Post About Nicole Kidman
Ana De Armas has people talking after she was seen liking a shady Instagram post about Nicole Kidman. The post, made in February on the Instagram account @celebmess, included what the account holder says is a 1996 photo of Nicole alongside a more recent picture of her. Also attached were screenshots from a 2007 interview where Nicole was asked about persistent stories surrounding her appearance. The piece noted that Nicole had sparked "persistent buzz over whether [she] is overly Botoxed" following her appearance at the 2006 Oscars. In the profile, Nicole denied getting any work done. "To be honest, I am completely natural," she said. "I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don't smoke." She added, "I take care of myself. And I'm very proud to say that." Related: Nicole's response was included in the Instagram post — right next to a doubtful meme that said, "Sure, Jan." "When you keep it real," read the caption of the post, which also hashtagged Nicole's name and included the song "Denying" by the Spice Girls. One Reddit user wrote, "what a sick burn 🙄." Another said, "Ugh. Shaming people like this is so weird." "De Armas is wow, so horrid for this petty crap," a third fan shared, as someone else said it gave "mean girl vibes." Others pointed out that the pictures of Nicole also appeared to be heavily edited. "They had to edit Nicole Kidman to even give the illusion she could have aged badly," one user said, as another stated, "Whatever, Nicole always has been and still is so beautiful to me." Ana has yet to address the situation, but it comes as she and Tom Cruise continue to face dating rumors following multiple appearances together since February. In a May interview on Good Morning America, Ana addressed their relationship and insisted it was purely a "working" one. "It's so much fun," she said. A source also told People that she and Tom are "just friends." Nicole was married to Tom from 1990 to 2001 and shares two children with him: Isabella, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30.
